Andrew Michael Trautmann
Mr. Trautmann was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is a graduate of Miami University. He was recruited by General Motors Corporation out of college and has worked for the last 15 years as a real estate developer in Ohio, Texas, Georgia, and Florida.
Mr. Trautmann moved from Atlanta, Georgia, to Jacksonville in 1990 after purchasing several properties in Jacksonville Beach and Historic Springfield. He has been active in many Jacksonville organizations, including Springfield Preservation and Restoration, Springfield Community Business Roundtable, and Neighborhood Housing Services.
Mr. Trautmann was appointed by Mayor John Delaney to the Urban Core Code Enforcement Board and served as Vice Chairman for 5 years. Mayor Delaney also appointed Mr. Trautmann to the Historic Springfield Arts and Amenities Commission; this Commission initiated the designs and concepts for the redesign of Historic Main Street, including the illuminated medians, new landscaping, and historic bus stops in use today.
Trautmann & Company, LLC, has received numerous awards for historic preservation from the Jacksonville Historic Preservation Commission, The National Trust for Historic Preservation and the United States National Neighborhood Works Program. Several of our projects have been featured in local and national news and on Home and Garden Television.
Adam Halstead
Adam Halstead joined Trautmann & Company in 2000. He acted as Property Manager and Office Manager until 2004, when he was made a full partner in the firm.
Prior to joining Trautmann & Company, Mr. Halstead was an IT staff supervisor at America Online, T-Mobile, and Trailer Bridge Industries. Mr. Halstead was born in Elmira, New York, and moved to Jacksonville in 1997. He has been active in the Jacksonville Community by serving on the Board of Directors of The Historic Springfield Community Council, The Springfield Improvement Association and Springfield Preservation and Revitalization Council, Inc. Mr. Halstead also assisted with the merge of The Historic Springfield Community Council and Springfield Preservation and Restoration, Inc.
